I started my math this morning with a story problem. I was asked to find the number of deer in the forest if the number of elk and antelope were such and such a number. Sounds elementary, right?
Think again.
I worked the problem,
and got this number
I worked it again, confused. Surely this wasn't the right answer.
But, I got the same number twice.
So, I checked the answer key.
The answer was 637.
And then I saw this,
AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! okay. what?
yep. that might go down in the book as best story problem ever. honestly, maybe it's my strange sense of humor, but this really made me giggle.
And people...if you ever see half a deer walking around, DON'T count it as part of the population.
