Darkened, Shabby...grimy, dirty or discolored
John 15:5
'I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is who bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.'
On my own strength, I am a dirty,darkened, shabby sinner. I want nothing to do with the most Marvelous person ever, and I reject Him. But Jesus is in me and He is the strength that I rely on daily. God cares for me and looks past my darkness and dinginess and sees only Jesus' righteousness! How wonderful is the love of God!
